Monstera Obliqua
Monstera Obliqua is one of the most sought after monsteras for rare plant collectors. For a few years it was impossible to find this plant without paying, thousands of dollars for a good specimen. It is native to Central and South America.
It's desired because of its highly perforated foliage, sometimes described as having more holes than foliage, which makes it so unique!
It grows vines that puts out runners, which can sometimes be propagated. This species is not a super fast grower, but with the right conditions it will thrive and grow.
Monstear Obliqua thrives in airy and well-draining soil with high humidity. An airy potting medium is ideal for drainage. Coco-coir, bark, perlite, and horticulture charcoal. For ideal potting mix check out our soil-less potting medium.

Heat packs and complete winter protection are available for purchase. They can be added to the order (filter by 'winter protection.") Heat packs should be purchased if you are experiencing cold or freezing temperatures. Please ensure that you will be available to receive your plant if you are experiencing cold temperatures. Heat packs only protect your plant in transit, not for extended periods.
