Alocasia Chantrieri (Grower's Choice)
Alocasia Chantrieri is a very cool hybrid of Alocasia Cuprea and Alocasia Sanderiana. It has leaves like the Cuprea, but are elongated similar to the rare Alocasia Sanderiana. The leaves start out bluish and then turn dark greenish purple. It is the underside of the leaves that are a true beauty; the color resembles the Alocasia Cuprea Red Secret. How To Grow: Alocasia Chantrieri likes medium indirect light. Do not put in direct sun, or it will scorch the leaves. Provide it to a chunky and airy potting mix; coco coir, perlite, orchid bark. Alocasias like moist soil, but not wet. Give it humid temperatures (60%-80%) and do not expose it to extreme cold, or it may go dormant. To keep Alocasias pest-free, keep them healthy by watering on schedule when the potting medium dries out, keeping a humid environment, and fertilizing when needed (ideally summer through fall.)

Plant ships in 4" nursery pot. Decorative pot is not included.
We do not ship to Hawaii or Puerto Rico. USPS and UPS are our preferred carriers. All plants are packaged and handled with love.
The potting medium is covered to prevent major spilling, however, some soil may spill in transit.
Heat packs and insulation are available for an extra charge of $5.00 each upon request. Please check the weather in your area and ensure to add a heat pack to your order if you are experiencing cold temperatures in the 40s or 50s or colder.
RETURN & REFUND
No returns; all sales are final once shipped.
If there is an issue with your shipment and the plant arrives dead (rarely happens) please take a video or pictures of the plant immediately (no less than 24 hours) and send to info@plantthejungle.com.
Shipping charges are non-refundable and need to be addressed with the carrier unless there is an issue with the way the product was packaged. Packages marked as delivered by the carrier are the buyer's responsibility. Contact the carrier (USPS or UPS) right away.
